Lemon Honey - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 lemons
    4 eggs
    2 c. sugar
    4 oz. butter
Preparation
    Grate rind of lemons and squeeze out juice. Beat eggs lightly. Place all ingredients into top part of double boiler and cook over boiling water, stirring until thick.
    Pour into hot jars and seal with vacuum seals or preserving wax.
    May be stored in refrigerator for several weeks, if unsealed.
    Mandarin orange or grapefruit honey can be made in the same way.
