Toodie'S Hamburger Surprise - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. hamburger or chuck
    1/2 stick butter or margarine
    2 medium potatoes
    3 large carrots
    1 medium onion
    1 (12 oz.) can green beans
    1/2 head cabbage
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Form meat into patties. Place into skillet and cook first side brown. Turn patties over and cook second side light brown. Remove patties from skillet and pour off excess grease. Place patties back into skillet light side down. Put in all vegetables starting with vegetable taking the longest time to cook. Put water in filling skillet at least halfway up on vegetables. Salt and pepper to taste. Place the butter or margarine around on top of vegetables. Cook, covered, until all vegetables are tender. Should make enough for 4 adults. Enjoy.
