Green Bean Pilaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large yellow onion
    2 Tbsp. butter
    10 medium fresh mushrooms
    1/4 tsp. dried tarragon
    1/2 c. long grain rice
    1 1/2 c. chicken broth
    3/4 lb. fresh green beans
    salt to taste
    pepper to taste
Preparation
    Chop onion.
    Melt butter in pan.
    Add onion; cook.
    Chop mushrooms.
    Add to onions and saute.
    Add tarragon and rice.
    Cook over low heat, stirring constantly for 3 minutes.
    Stir in chicken broth.
    Bring to a boil.
    Cover and simmer 20 minutes.
    Wash and trim green beans in 1-inch pieces.
    Cook in water with a little salt for 10 minutes.
    Drain.
    Gently fold green beans into rice. Add salt and pepper to taste.
