Nut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sifted flour
1 c. plus 2 Tbsp. sugar
2 1/4 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1/2 tsp. orange extract
1/4 tsp. almond extract
2 eggs (unbeaten)
1 full c. milk
chopped nuts
Preparation

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt into mixing bowl. Add in shortening.
Measure 2/3 cup milk and flavoring; add and beat for two minutes.
Add remaining milk and eggs; beat for 2 minutes more.
Stir in nuts.
Bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour.
