Sweet And Sour Brisket - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (16 oz.) can stewed tomatoes
    1 (8 oz.) can sauerkraut
    1 c. applesauce
    2 Tbsp. brown sugar
    1 (2 1/2 to 3 1/2 lb.) beef brisket
    2 Tbsp. cold water
    2 Tbsp. cornstarch
    parsley sprigs
Preparation
    In a 10-inch skillet, combine first 4 ingredients.
    Boil. Reduce heat and add brisket.
    Spoon some mixture over meat; cover and simmer 2 1/2 to 3 minutes until tender.
    Remove meat to platter and keep warm.
    Skim off excess fat.
    Combine cornstarch and water; cook until thick.
    Stir and cook 2 more minutes.
    Spoon some sauce over meat and pass remainder.
    Garnish with parsley.
