Ingredients

1 1/2 c. quick oats
3/4 c. sugar
1 egg, beaten
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. pecans, chopped
1 stick butter or oleo, melted
1 to 2 tsp. flour
pinch of salt
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Pour oleo over oatmeal.
Add egg and stir.
Sift dry ingredients and add to creamed mixture.
Add nuts and vanilla. Drop by 1/2 teaspoon on foil and bake 11 minutes at 350\u00b0.
Cool and pull off foil.
They spread a lot so do not put them close together.
