Round Steak Supper In One Dish - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. round steaks (1-inch thick), cut in servings
    2 tsp. salt
    dash of pepper
    flour
    6 medium onions, sliced
    3 large potatoes, pared and halved
    1/4 c. fat
    1 bay leaf
    1 can condensed tomato soup
    1 (1 lb.) c. green beans, drained
Preparation
    Season meat with salt and pepper and roll in flour.
    Cook onions in hot fat until tender, but not brown.
    Remove onions. Brown meat slowly on both sides.
    Place meat in a 3-quart casserole.
    Add onions, potatoes and bay leaf.
    Pour soup over. Cover and bake in moderate oven at 350\u00b0 for 1 hour and 45 minutes or until meat is tender.
    Add green beans and cook 10 to 15 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
