Herbed Brown Rice And Chicken - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 skinless, boneless chicken breast halves
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 Tbsp. oleo
1 (14 1/2 oz.) can clear chicken broth
1/2 tsp. dried thyme leaves, crushed
1 c. frozen peas
1 1/2 c. uncooked quick cooking brown rice
2 Tbsp. grated solid Parmesan cheese
Preparation

Sprinkle chicken with garlic powder and pepper.
Brown chicken for 10 minutes on medium heat;
remove from skillet.
Stir in thyme, peas, broth and rice.
Heat to boil. Return chicken to pan. Cover and cook on low heat until rice is done (30 minutes).
Or, bake at 350\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
Remove chicken.
Stir cheese into rice mixture, fluff and serve.
