Cornmeal Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. cornmeal
    1/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. baking powder
    1/2 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter, melted
Preparation
    Mix cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. Beat egg and stir into milk before blending in dry ingredients.
    Stir in melted butter.
    Drop by spoonfuls into 5 to 8 cups stock.
    Cover and simmer for 15 minutes.
