Caramel Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 pkg. German chocolate cake mix
3/4 c. melted margarine
2/3 c. evaporated milk, divided
1 (14 oz.) pkg. vanilla caramels
1 c. chopped nuts (optional)
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips

Preparation

Add melted margarine and 1/3 cup evaporated milk to dry cake mix.
Press 1/2 of the cake mixture into an ungreased 9 x 13-inch pan.
Bake for 15 minutes at 350\u00b0.
While cake is baking, melt caramels with 1/3 cup evaporated milk.
