Kroppkakor - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. salt or side pork
    1 large onion
    1 1/2 c. cold mashed potatoes
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    1 egg
    1/4 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cut salt pork into 1/2-inch cubes.
    Fry gently with diced onion until nearly done. Combine potatoes, egg, salt and pepper and blend well.
    Add 1/2 cup flour and mix.
    Knead the rest of the flour into the dough on a board.
    Make small balls and make a deep indentation in each.
    Into the opening, put a portion of pork and onion mixture.
    Close and roll in flour.
    Drop into a kettle of boiling water and cook for 30 minutes.
    Serve with cream sauce.
