Marinated Bean Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 cup vinegar
    3/4 cup sugar
    Salt and pepper to taste
    2 cups (1 lb. can) cut wax beans
    2 cups (1 lb. can) cut green beans
    2 cups (1 lb. can) kidney beans
    1/2 cup raw onion, thinly sliced into rings
    1/2 cup oil
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
Preparation
    Combine vinegar and sugar in a saucepan. Heat until sugar is dissolved. Cool and add salt and pepper to taste.
    Drain beans to remove juices. Combine remaining ingredients. Marinate with vinegar/sugar mixture several hours or overnight. Kept under refrigeration, this salad will remain good for a week. Serves 6.
