Beef Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. stew meat
    2 (12 oz.) cans V-8 juice
    1 c. water
    4 to 6 red potatoes, chopped in large chunks
    1 onion, chopped
    3 carrots, chopped into large chunks
    salt and pepper to taste
    1 tsp. garlic powder
Preparation
    In crock-pot, place all ingredients.
    Turn pot to high and cook for 9 to 10 hours until meat is tender.
    Serve with corn bread or biscuits.
    Serves 4 to 6.
