Popeye-Wimpy Burgers - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 cans spinach (12 oz. each)
    3 medium onions, chopped
    2 eggs, beaten
    2 lb. lean hamburger
    salt and pepper to taste
    1/2 c. ketchup
    1 can tomato sauce (8 oz.)
    oil for browning
Preparation
    Chop spinach fine.
    Blend together completely the spinach, onion, eggs, hamburger, salt and pepper and ketchup.
    Form into petite hamburger patties.
    Brown on both sides in oil.
    Place patties in a 9 x 13 x 2-inch baking dish or pan.
    Pour tomato sauce plus pan drippings over patties.
    Bake in a 350\u00b0
    oven for 20 to 30 minutes.
    To keep meat tender and juicy, cover with aluminum foil while baking.
