Pasta Gratin With Sausage And Mushrooms - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1 medium onion, chopped
    1 lb. sweet Italian sausage meat, crumbled
    salt and pinch of dried thyme
    8 oz. mushrooms, sliced
    4 cloves garlic, minced
    pinch of nutmeg
    1/4 c. dry white wine
    28 oz. can tomatoes, drained, seeded and chopped
    black pepper
    1/4 c. parsley
    1 lb. tube shaped pasta
    1 Tbsp. unsalted butter
    1 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
    1 1/4 c. heavy cream
Preparation
    Heat oil in skillet.
    Saute onion until soft, about 6 minutes. Add crumbled sausage meat.
    Saute and brown 6 minutes.
    Add salt and thyme.
    Add mushrooms, garlic and nutmeg to skillet.
    Toss to combine and cook 4 minutes.
    Drain off fat.
    Add wine and cook dry.
    Add tomatoes and stir; cook 5 minutes.
    Add pepper and seasonings; set aside.
