Icebox Rolls - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pt. milk
    1/4 c. lard
    1/2 c. sugar
    1 pkg. yeast
    flour
    1/2 tsp. soda
    1/4 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Combine milk, lard and sugar; scald.
    Cool to lukewarm. Dissolve yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water.
    Add enough flour to make of cake batter consistency.
    Let rise until doubled in bulk. Add soda, baking powder, salt and enough flour to make stiff dough. Make into roll; let rise.
    Bake at 425\u00b0 until slightly browned.
