Angel Biscuits - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    5 c. flour, sifted
    5 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    1 pkg. yeast
    1/4 c. warm water
    1/2 tsp. soda
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. shortening
    1 c. buttermilk
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in warm water.
    Sift dry ingredients together. Cut in shortening.
    Add yeast to buttermilk and stir into other ingredients.
    Knead lightly.
    This keeps well for 3 or 4 days in refrigerator.
    Roll out, cut and bake in hot oven at 450\u00b0 until desired brownness.
