Stir Fruit Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. butter
4 c. sugar
8 c. flour
2 Tbsp. nutmeg
2 Tbsp. vanilla
1 lb. cherries
1 lb. raisins
1 lb. pineapple
2 tsp. salt
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 lb. figs
1 lb. coconut
1 pkg. dates
3 qt. pecans
1 doz. eggs
1 Tbsp. baking powder
Preparation

Mix butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Mix dry ingredients. Roll fruit in flour mixture.
This is a stiff batter.
Cook in same pan you mixed it in.
Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350\u00b0.
Stir every 15 minutes.
Pack in pan while hot.
You may pour small amount of sherry over top if desired.
