Chocolate Cream Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. cornstarch
    1/2 tsp. salt
    3 c. milk
    3 egg yolks, slightly beaten
    1 Tbsp. butter
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    1/2 c. cocoa
    1 small carton whipping cream
    2 Tbsp. powdered sugar
Preparation
    Mix sugar, cornstarch, cocoa and salt together in saucepan. Gradually stir in milk.
    Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickens and boils.
    Boil 1 minute.
    Remove from heat.
    Gradually stir at least half of hot mixture into egg yolks. Then blend into hot mixture in saucepan.
    Boil 1 minute more, stirring constantly.
    Remove from heat.
    Blend in butter and vanilla.
    Pour immediately into 9-inch cooked pie shell.
    Serve with sweetened whipped cream.
    Whip the whipping cream and powdered sugar together until fluffy and stiff.
    Dot over pie when it is cool.
