Snickerdoodles Cookies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. shortening, soft
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    2 eggs
    2 3/4 c. sifted all-purpose flour
    2 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. soda
    1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation
    Mix together shortening, sugar and eggs.
    Sift together flour, cream of tartar, soda and vanilla.
    Make dough, chill and roll into balls the size of a walnut.
    Roll in mixture of 2 tablespoons each of sugar and cinnamon.
    Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Place in a 400\u00b0 oven and bake 10 minutes.
