Gingersnaps - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. sugar
    2 3/4 c. shortening
    4 eggs, beaten
    pinch of salt
    1 c. sorghum
    2 tsp. cloves
    2 tsp. ginger
    2 tsp. cinnamon
    2 Tbsp. soda
    8 c. flour (1/2 whole wheat)
Preparation
    Cream sugar, shortening and salt.
    Add eggs and sorghum.
    Put dry ingredients in a bowl and mix with a wire whip to blend, then add to the other ingredients.
    Chill.
    Bake at 375\u00b0 for 10 minutes.
