German Apple Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2/3 c. flour
2/3 c. confectioners sugar
1/4 lb. margarine
3 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
lemon juice
1 tsp. baking powder
apples
cinnamon
Preparation

Mix margarine and sugar until fluffy.
Add flavorings.
Add eggs one at a time.
Beat well after each egg, then add flour and baking powder.
Beat until smooth.
Pour into greased pan.
Cover with thick slices of apples.
Sprinkle with cinnamon, sugar and lemon juice.
Bake at 425\u00b0 for 35 to 40 minutes.
