Vegetable Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 c. potatoes, diced
    2 c. carrots, diced
    1/4 lb. salt pork, diced
    1/2 c. onion, diced
    1 green pepper, diced
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 c. milk
    2 c. tomatoes, canned hot
    1 tsp. salt
    1/8 tsp. pepper
Preparation
    Cover potatoes and carrots with water or stock and cook until tender. Saute pork, onion and green pepper about 5 minutes, but do not brown. Add flour and blend.
    Add milk and cook 5 minutes stirring constantly until smooth.
    Add remaining ingredients and serve hot.
