Chicken Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. tomato juice
    2 Tbsp. vegetable oil
    2 medium onions, coarsely chopped
    4 garlic cloves, crushed
    3 carrots, coarsely chopped
    3 celery ribs, coarsely chopped
    1 (14 oz.) can Italian plum tomatoes with their juices
    2 c. cooked pinto beans
    3 c. cubed, cooked chicken
    1 (4 oz.) can chopped green chiles
    1/3 c. chili powder (mild or hot) to taste
    1 tsp. dried oregano
    2 tsp. ground cumin
    1 (12 oz.) bottle beer
    1 tsp. salt or to taste
Preparation
    In a small saucepan, heat tomato juice over medium heat until it boils.
    Remove from heat.
    Let stand for 15 minutes.
