Ingredients

2 jars red beets
1 c. sugar
1 c. vinegar
1 tsp. whole allspice
1 tsp. whole cloves
1 stick cinnamon, broken up
Preparation

Pour juice off beets; add water to juice to make 2 cups.
Then add sugar, vinegar, whole allspice, cloves and cinnamon.
Boil all ingredients 15 minutes; cool.
Pour over beets.
