Cheese Topped Zucchini Halves - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 medium or 5 small zucchini
    1 medium onion, thinly sliced
    1 Tbsp. oil
    1/2 to 1 tsp. crushed oregano
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1 (6 or 8 oz.) pkg. sliced Mozzarella cheese
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Cut zucchini in half lengthwise.
    Cook onion in salad oil on medium heat until tender, but not brown.
    Add zucchini halves, cut side up.
    Sprinkle with salt, pepper and oregano.
    Pour tomato sauce over zucchini.
    Cover.
    Cook just until tender, about 10 minutes.
    Top zucchini with cheese slices.
    Cover until cheese is melted.
    Serves 6.
