Sour Cream Pound Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 sticks butter or margarine
    3 c. sugar
    3 c. flour
    1 tsp. soda
    1 c. sour cream
    6 eggs, separated
    2 tsp. vanilla
    Pinch of salt
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
    Cream butter and sugar.
    Add egg yolks, one at a time, beating well after each addition.
    Sift together flour, soda and salt.
    Add the flour mixture to the creamed mixture alternately with the sour cream; beat well. Gently fold in egg whites.
    Bake in a well greased and floured tube pan at 300\u00b0 for 90 minutes or until cake tests done.
