Doughnuts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 pkg. yeast, dissolved in 1/2 c. warm water
    2 eggs
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1/2 c. sugar
    1/3 c. melted shortening
    4 c. all-purpose flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. warm milk
Preparation
    Put eggs in bowl, add sugar, shortening, milk and salt.
    Mix together.
    Add yeast which has been dissolved in the warm water, vanilla and flour.
    Mix well.
    Let dough rise 1/2 hour in bowl, then put dough on a floured board, knead.
    Let stand and rise for 45 minutes.
    Roll dough 1/2-inch thick.
    Cut into doughnuts.
    Let rise and put in hot grease until brown.
    Turn over doughnuts to brown other side.
    Put into glaze.
