Mock Sweetbreads - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    1/2 lb. ground veal
    1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs
    1 1/2 c. milk
    1 egg
    pinch of salt
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can water
Preparation
    Mix all but soup and water together.
    Make into cakes.
    Lay on wax paper for 1/2 hour or longer.
    Brown in shortening.
    Place in a baking dish.
    Pour soup diluted with water over.
    Bake in 350\u00b0 oven 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
    Serves so good.
