Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1 1/2 c. self-rising meal
1/2 c. self-rising flour
1/4 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1 egg
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. salt

Preparation

Mix all ingredients together.
Drop by teaspoons by dropping into hot Wesson oil.
Brown.
Remove from oil and drain.
