Spaghetti Casserole - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 lb. Italian sausage (spicy or mild to taste)
1 large onion, coarsely chopped
1 Tbsp. olive oil
1 to 2 c. marinara sauce (homemade or prepared)
1 lb. angel hair pasta
1 pt. small curd cottage cheese
Italian bread crumbs
1 lb. Mozzarella cheese, grated
Preparation

Remove the sausage meat from the casings.
Fry the sausage meat and the onion in olive oil until the sausage crumbles and the onion is soft.
Add just enough marinara sauce to the sausage and onion to make a thick mixture.
Cook and drain pasta following package directions.
Preheat oven to 375\u00b0.\tCover the bottom of a deep baking dish with a layer of cooked pasta.
Cover pasta with a thin layer of the sauce and sausage mixture.
Add a thin layer of cottage cheese.
Next, sprinkle bread crumbs over the cottage cheese and cover the bread crumbs with a layer of Mozzarella. Then repeat the layers, making sure that Mozzarella is the layer at the top.
Bake covered for 45 minutes.
