Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1/4 c. margarine
1/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. peanut butter
1 tsp. vanilla
dash of salt
3 c. dry oats
Preparation

In a large saucepan combine sugar, margarine, cocoa and milk. Bring to a boil; then add peanut butter, vanilla and salt.
Bring to a boil again; then add dry oats.
At this time coconut, raisins or nuts may also be added.
Drop by spoonfuls onto waxed paper or a cookie sheet.
Cool before eating.
Makes approximately 40 to 60 cookies.
