Sweet Kosher Dill Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 large jar kosher dill pickles, drained and sliced lengthwise
    1 Tbsp. pickling spice
    1 small onion, chopped
    1/2 c. water
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/4 c. vinegar
Preparation
    Place pickles back in jar and cover with onion and pickling spice.
    Boil together the water, sugar and vinegar and pour over pickles in jar.
    Seal and refrigerate for a few days.
