Swiss Lettuce - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 slices bacon, but into small pieces and fried brown
    2/3 c. vinegar
    1/3 c. water
    1 tsp. sugar (add more to suit taste)
Preparation
    When bacon is browned, add other ingredients and heat to boiling point.
    Pour over washed lettuce.
    Slice hard-cooked eggs may be added to make salad extra delicious.
