Old-Fashioned Chess Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
4 eggs
1/2 c. margarine
1 c. light brown sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/4 c. flour
Preparation

Heat sugars, flour, margarine and milk until completely dissolved.
Cool.
Beat 3 egg yolks and 1 whole egg well; add vanilla.
Add to cooled sugar mixture and pour in unbaked pie shell.
Bake 35 to 40 minutes.
Begin at 350\u00b0 for 15 minutes, then lower to 250\u00b0.
Top with meringue and brown.
