Peanut Brittle - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 c. sugar
1 c. white corn syrup
1/2 c. water
2 Tbsp. margarine
2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
Preparation

Cook sugar, corn syrup and water in heavy saucepan to 275\u00b0 on candy thermometer.
Add peanuts, stirring until syrup turns light brown and peanuts begin to pop.
Remove from heat and add margarine, vanilla and soda.
Pour into greased jelly roll pan and spread to cover pan.
Cool completely and break into pieces.
