Pineapple Cream Pie - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
2 egg yolks
1 c. crushed pineapple
1 Tbsp. vanilla
2 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch
1 c. milk
1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation

Mix sugar and cornstarch together.
Beat egg yolks.
Add milk and then add this mixture to sugar and cornstarch.
Add butter and pineapple; cook in double boiler until thick.
Add vanilla.
Pour into baked pie shell.
Top with meringue and brown.
