Congo Squares - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 box brown sugar
    3/4 c. melted margarine
    3 eggs
    2 3/4 c. flour
    1 tsp. vanilla
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 c. nuts, chopped
    1 pkg. chocolate chips
Preparation
    Combine brown sugar and melted margarine.
    Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
    Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to other mixture.
    Add vanilla, nuts and chocolate chips.
    Pour into greased and floured 9 x 13-inch cake pan.
    Bake 25 to 30 minutes at 350\u00b0.
