Louisiana Corn Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 lb. ground beef
1 large chopped onion
1 can Ro-Tel
garlic to taste
salt to taste
2 1/4 c. cornmeal
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 1/2 Tbsp. sugar
3 beaten eggs
2 (16 oz.) cans creamed corn
1/2 lb. grated cheese
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Cook first five ingredients together until beef is browned.
Mix together.
Grease 9 x 11-inch dish. Spread 1/2 of cornmeal mixture into dish.
Add meat mixture. Sprinkle with cheese.
Spread the rest of cornmeal batter.
Bake, uncovered, at 350\u00b0 for 30 to 45 minutes or until corn bread is browned and done in center.
Serve with green vegetable or salad and your meal is complete.
