Peanut Butter Brownies - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 oz. unsweetened chocolate
2 Tbsp. shortening
2 Tbsp. peanut butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped peanuts (optional)
Preparation

Heat chocolate and shortening in 2-quart saucepan over low heat until melted; remove from heat.
Mix in sugar, eggs and vanilla.
Stir in remaining ingredients.
Spread in greased 8 x 8 x 2-inch pan.
Bake until brownies begin to pull away from sides of pan, for 30 to 35 minutes.
