Beef Log - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 lb. hamburger meat
    1 c. water
    2 Tbsp. Morton Tender Quick curing salt
    1 1/2 tsp. liquid smoke
    1/2 tsp. powdered garlic
    1 Tbsp. coarse ground pepper
    dash of ground red pepper or cayenne (optional)
Preparation
    Mix well. Roll in 1/2-inch rolls (this makes about 5 rolls). Wrap tightly in plastic wrap. Store in refrigerator for 24 hours; place on broiler pan. Bake at 300\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours. Cool. Keep refrigerated or frozen.
