Texas Hash - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 large onion, chopped
1 medium bell pepper, chopped
3 Tbsp. corn oil
1 lb. ground chuck
1 can tomatoes, chopped
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
1/2 tsp. black pepper
2 tsp. salt
1 c. uncooked rice
1 can tomato sauce plus 1 can water
Preparation

Cook onion and bell pepper in corn oil until tender. Add ground chuck and cook until meat browns. Stir constantly. Remove from fire. Add remaining ingredients and cook in 2-quart casserole dish. Cover with foil and bake 1 hour at 350\u00b0.
