Stuffed Whole Cabbage - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 to 2 lb. head cabbage
    1 lb. lean ground beef
    1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
    1/3 c. Minute rice
    1 egg
    1 envelope dry onion soup mix
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Remove core from cabbage and hollow out center.
    Combine all other ingredients in bowl.
    Mix well.
    Spoon into cabbage shell. Place in 1 1/2-quart glass baking dish.
    Microwave, tightly covered, on High for 17 minutes, turning after 9 minutes.
    Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
    Serves 6.
