Low-Fat Chocolate Chippers - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/2 c. lite shortening
1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. salt
1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
1/2 c. Grape-Nuts
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg white plus 1 Tbsp. water
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. soda
Preparation

In large bowl, cream together shortening, sugar, egg and vanilla until light and fluffy.
Sift together dry ingredients. Stir into creamed mixture, blending well.
Add chocolate chips and nuts.
With a non-fat cooking spray, grease cookie sheet.
Drop by teaspoons (2 inches apart) on cookie sheet and bake in 375\u00b0 oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
Yields 3 1/2 dozen.
