Banana Bread - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. sugar
1/2 c. shortening or margarine
2 large mashed bananas
1 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. milk
2 c. flour
pinch of salt (optional)
1 egg or 1/4 c. Egg Beaters
1/2 c. ground pecans
Preparation

Cream sugar and shortening; add well beaten egg and milk and mix well.
Mash ripe bananas and add to mixture.
Sift in dry ingredients and mix thoroughly.
Add nuts.
Pour into greased and floured 8 1/2 x 13-inch loaf pan.
Bake 45 to 60 minutes in a 350\u00b0 oven.
Test with toothpick inserted near middle.
Toothpick will come out clean when done.
Serve hot or cold with or without butter or margarine.
