Ropa Vieja - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 lb. flank steak
3 onions
3 green peppers
7 cloves garlic
6 bay leaves
1/2 c. vinegar
1/2 can tomato paste
2 ripe tomatoes
salt and pepper to taste
Preparation

Boil steak with 1 onion, 3 cloves garlic, 1 green pepper, 3 bay leaves, 1/4 cup vinegar and salt until tender.
Cool; then fry out remaining onions, peppers and garlic in olive oil.
Add meat, bay leaves, vinegar and small amount of broth.
Simmer until liquid is absorbed.
Stir in tomatoes and paste.
Heat.
Serve with black beans over white rice.
