Lemon Buttered Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 small fryers
    2 lemons (squeeze juice)
    1 stick butter
    1 or 2 bananas
    1 can figs
Preparation
    Cut up small fryers.
    Salt and pepper to taste after washing and patting dry.
    Pour juice of lemons over chicken.
    Let stand at room temperature at least 30 minutes.
    Reserve liquid.
    Melt butter in skillet.
    Reduce heat to medium-low.
    Brown pieces of chicken on both sides.
    Drain excess butter from skillet.
    Replace chicken. Cover; simmer at low heat with reserved lemon juice until tender. Garnish with canned, drained figs and bananas sauteed in butter.
