Ingredients

1 c. brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten well
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 c. white sugar
3 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 3/4 sticks oleo
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix well.
Chill for 1 or 2 hours.
Pinch off dough and shape into balls.
Press flat with fork.
Bake at 375\u00b0 for 12 or 15 minutes.
Makes 4 dozen.
