Hoppin' John - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 lb. black eyed peas
    1 tsp. salt
    1 chopped onion
    1 tsp. Wochestershire
    1 medium. ham hock
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 tsp. Tabasco
Preparation
    Wash peas, cover with water and let soak over night.
    Drain, add seasonings, peas and cover with water.
    Cook 45 to 60 minute. Add more water if necessary to keep peas juicy.
    To serve:
    mix cooked peas with cooked rice.
