Cucumber Slices - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 cucumber
dash of salt
1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
2 to 3 tsp. chives, snipped
1 loaf firm white bread
Preparation

Peel the cucumber and cut into quarters lengthwise and remove the seeds.
Chop fairly fine.
Cream the cream cheese and add the salt and chives.
Add the cucumber just before serving the sandwiches to avoid having the mixture become too watery.
Spread on ovals or rounds or white bread with crusts removed.
These are to be served open-faced.
